Perform preventative or corrective maintenance on facilities and production electrical equipment and light mechanical repairs as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are typical for this role. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.
Maintain, repair and replace electronic controls and equipment that require technical knowledge including switches, controls, central and subsidiary control panels on machine tools and welding equipment, as well as circuits on welding machines, paint equipment, shot blasters and other process equipment.
Diagnose and remedy electrical problems on all electrical apparatus including communications equipment, power circuit, motors, generators, and cranes.
Works from oral and written instructions, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and codebooks.
Generate work orders, edit and complete in DAX2012.
Will be trained in: Parts ordering and issuing procedures, Operation of Ariel Man lifts, Scissor Lifts, Lockout Tag out Policy and program.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Has a broad knowledge of applied electrical practices, techniques, and theory of operation of electrical and electronic equipment and controls.
Ability to wear required Electrical PPE (face shield, balaclava, coveralls, and insulated gloves).
Ability to perform repairs from oral and written instructions, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings and codebooks.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively as a member of a team.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong worth ethic, flexible, reliable, and punctual.
