Responsible for supporting general accounting functions for Gunderson and subsidiaries.
Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are typical for this role. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.
Fixed Assets: capitalization, depreciation, disposals for Gunderson and all Subsidiaries (both tax and book). Strong interface with maintenance on the status of construction in progress.
Maintain, monitor and reconcile E jobs.
Prepaid property taxes and prepaid insurance reporting and integrity for Gunderson and subsidiaries.
Assist in month and quarterly reporting packages for Gunderson management and the Greenbrier Manufacturing Organization (GMO).
Assist closing of production orders and research variances.
Month-end balancing of Marine inventory.
Manage unclaimed property process.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have the experience and the knowledge to perform a sound analysis that meets management's expectations.
Produce accurate and timely reports.
Provide timely account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts.
Maintain accurate filing system.
Invoices are matched correctly with requisition or purchase order.
Timely and accurate processing of invoices
Timely and accurate data entry.
Ten key by touch.
Detailed individual with strong analytical ability.
Computer experience with spreadsheets required.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of management.
Proficient in Microsoft applications.
Experience and Education
BS or BA in Accounting, Finance
Minimum of five years of professional accounting experience preferred.
Manufacturing experience a plus.
