The Greenbrier Companies is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sales Support Staff Intern to join our team for an 8-week summer internship based in our Lake Oswego, OR headquarters. This role is responsible for assisting the Commercial Sales Support team with developing and maintaining project plans and related documentation associated to the delivery of new railcars from Greenbrier's Northam American production facilities. Additionally this role will work closely with the Commercial team assisting with research for customer requests related to their new railcar production lots. This role will become familiar with the various types of railcars Greenbrier builds plus the other departments within Greenbrier that assist in facilitating the production of new railcars (Production, Accounting, Engineering, Procurement).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Efficient time management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary

  • College coursework (or equivalent experience) or aptitude in a relevant area of study, such as: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, and Project Management.
