Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for coordinating rail movements, supporting both external and internal stakeholders, ensuring the timely completion of projects and asset delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project management and daily coordination of rail delivery projects for key stakeholders.

  • Responsible for executing railcar movement transactions including billing, diverting, and disposition requests.

  • Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once

  • Re-route freight as needed to meet demands and minimize costs

  • Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s)

  • Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solution

  • Works closely with customers, suppliers, railroads, internal teams, and stakeholders to assure efficient and effective execution of railcar delivery

  • Secure freight rates as needed to meet demands and minimize costs

  • Provide support to other departments as needed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Proficiency with MS Offices applications: Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc

  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned by the Manager

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years direct logistics or project management experience preferred

  • Excellent Customer Service

  • Ability to work well within fast-paced team environment
