This is a strategic position that will work with both management-level and development teams to build and communicate a security strategy and security roadmaps based on sound enterprise architecture practices. In this role, you will work with the IT and Security teams to design, document, and communicate the security strategy across Greenbrier. This strategy along with pertinent patterns and practices will set the foundation for technical Security across the company. You will use your critical thinking and demonstrated ability to provide and articulate architecture future visions. You'll also work to drive adoption of the overall security strategy and partner with other areas of the organization to ensure consistency.
In this position you will evaluate, plan and deploy enterprise security solutions to protect on-premises and cloud environments. Solutions include but are not limited to cloud security solutions malware detection, identity and access management and device management. As the Cyber Security architect, you will maintain security reference architectures. Additionally, you will work to analyze and design cloud and on-prem deployments and migration strategy and processes. Other responsibilities will include serving as a security SME in evaluating services and technologies to meet business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
Solid experience with IT solution delivery, including serving as an architect / engineer working on design, implementation, and operations for distributed applications.
Experience with public, private, and hybrid Cloud services and the planning, development, migration, and integration of applications and services from on-premises infrastructure to Cloud-based Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments.
Some understanding of Systems Engineering, Secure Systems Engineering, or DevSecOps
Experience evaluating Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments and the planning, development, migration and integration of applications and services into enterprise security service catalog.
Understanding of NIST Cyber Security Framework standard and requirements and ability to apply them to the cloud environment.
Experience with infrastructure operations and processes associated with IT service management in an Enterprise-level organization.
