Currently, the Corporate Finance group manages Investor Relations ("IR"), Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury. The Administrator will support the VP of Corporate Finance and other members of the group.
The Administrator will work in a cross-functional environment. This requires you to leverage resources from Greenbrier business units and other corporate support groups including: marketing, legal, human resources, accounting, tax and corporate communications. You will use your attention to detail and ability to multi-task in support of the overall finance team.
The role will center around investor relations activities, including:
Drafting and management of quarterly financial press releases
Updating IR materials and presentations
Management of IR support materials
Managing / tracking IR contacts and activities
Communication with analysts and investors / shareholders
Calendar and coordinate meetings and prepare materials for various IR conferences
Drafting of IR & financial planning communications / presentations to Executive Management and Board members
Support of Treasury functions including bank account tracking
Provide administrative support to VP of Corporate Finance and various executives in the Finance group
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business
1 -- 2 years, post graduate, work experience a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Ability to learn and understand recurring patterns of activity and anticipate support requirements at different points in the cycle
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High degree of responsiveness with the ability to develop relationships at all levels
Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
Capability to handle company information in a professional and confidential manner
Self-directed ability to independently prioritize and manage various processes
Ability to improve processes with exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated adaptability to meet the changing demands of a evolving company
Calm and level-headed -- able to maintain equilibrium while managing multiple priorities.
