  • Prepare journal entries and journal entry postings

  • Perform general ledger reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and operating reports for internal and external use. Prepare and distribute contractually required reports

  • Perform ad hoc requests, field questions, and projects assigned

  • Read lease agreements/contracts

  • General ledger reconciliations for several GL accounts including but not limited to prepaid assets, various liability accounts, deferred revenue, accrued revenue, advance billings of lease revenue, and debt related accounts

  • Provide account coding to external departments for GL

  • Perform account variance and trend analysis

  • Assist with interim and annual audits; both external and internal

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting or private industry

  • Advanced Excel and Word skills required

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles required

  • CPA or CPA Candidate a plus

  • Experience in Epicor a plus

  • Lease accounting experience a plus

  • High level of accuracy, thorough and detail-oriented, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, must be able to understand complex transactions and issues with a demonstrated ability to think outside the box

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to deliver excellent customer service

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal direction, and the ability to interact confidently with external parties and leadership

  • Ability to read and comprehend legal documents (i.e. lease agreements)

  • Demonstrate ethical and moral behavior, unquestionable integrity and character
