The purpose of this position is to directly oversee production. May include inspections and any required documentation as directed by the Foreman or Production Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide direction and assistance to production personnel.
Supervise his / her workforce crew, providing training and guidance.
Ensure personnel have applicable tools, procedures, etc to complete required tasks being performed.
Notify foreman or Production Manager when work is completed.
Perform in-process inspections, write up and supervise any additional repairs.
Sign off work orders as / when work is completed.
Ensure work is being performed in accordance with all applicable AAR, Greenbrier and customer procedures.
Ensure all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements followed.
Ensure personnel sign off work orders as line items are completed.
Monitor and evaluate employee performance.
Ensure all EHS rules are followed and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Must be able to accommodate on-call responsibilities and work overtime when needed.
Maintain a safe work environment through awareness of surroundings and potential hazards.
Promote and exhibit an attitude of teamwork with all employees.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned including special processes.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
One to three years' work-related experience preferred, but not required.
